PI Guy, INSTEAD OF FINDING THE BUG - Is there a cheap "JAMMING DEVICE" that can interrupt the ability for the bug to function?

i've been doing PI work on the side now for about seven years in Massachusetts. I thought about trying to go for my license so I can do it full-time, but I'm really not sure if it's worth all the aggravation. I do pretty well for myself.

Thanks for this video. I had to take someone to court about three months ago for not holding up their part of a written agreement. Had to take them to small claims and won. Was quite a relief. This video confirms I made the right moves during the proceedings.

Verbally invoke 4,5,6 Amendments, not scary at all. Sign absolutely nothing and don’t say 1 word.

Say NOTHING when you are interrogated, uh, interviewed, other than your personal identification; do not unlock your cellphone for them (don't even carry it unless absolutely necessary; use a burner phone). "I have nothing to say to you." or "I don't answer questions." Get a good criminal lawyer and NEVER EVER CONFESS about anything to anyone, even your own lawyer; if your lawyer asks if you "did it", then immediately get another defense lawyer. The only reason you're being interrogated, uh, interviewed, is because they don't yet have enough evidence to convict you of anything. If they threaten or charge you with "obstruction of justice" for not speaking to them, then wait for your lawyer to get you in front of a judge. Remember the names and badge numbers of the thugs for later lawsuits and doxing.

When talking to law enforcement, never answer questions and invoke the: 4th amendment- I do not consent to searches and seizures of my person, property or effects. 5th amendment- I'm invoking my right to remain silent. 6th amendment- I want my attorney present for all questions you have of me.

If they had authentic evidence against you, then there is no need for your confession. If they are interrogating you, then they do not have evidence against you. In the interrogation, you cannot persuade them to drop all charges and release you; they have already made their decision against you. Your best chance at freedom is to SHUT UP and lawyer up.

I imagine there's a reason they tell you that ANYTHING you say can and WILL be used AGAINST YOU.

Invoke your 5th Amendment right to remain silent and get your lawyer. Have your lawyer talk to them without you present so they can't claim to read body language.

Would you recommend answering the phone while on covert surveillance (ie blacked out in the back of your vehicle in a neighborhood watching a house waiting for movement) or get back to those calls later? You might be surprised just how many cars are able to change the settings of auto-locking and if/when the lights turn on/off when opening doors and turning the car off etc. Obviously the new cars with big touch screens running everything can generally do this, but surprisingly even alot of older cars going back to at least 2000-2001 I know for sure from personal experience.. so do a quick search online or flip through the owner's manual to see if that is an option on your vehicle and how to do it..

Can a private investigator move into the same apartment complex to live there and keep a closer eye on that the injured subject that lives on the same private property?

The car features you mention, auto unlock, dome light and exterior lights staying on after engine off can be reprogrammed with a good scanner on most vehicles. Some options can be changed without a scanner.

I rarely see tinted windows either, until I'm trying to back out of a crowded market or mall parking lot. Then, the SUVs on both sides of me have tinted windows. Never fails - I have to inch backward & hope whoever I can't see approaching will cut me break.
